SIPF is affiliated with the Specialized Information Publishers Association (SIPA), which has honored editorial excellence in newsletters and other specialized content for 30 years.

The awards program stated: "The United States and the world were still reeling last year from a devastating 2008 in which the financial system's very survival was threatened. Many investors lost faith in their brokers and Wall Street as a whole. In the midst of this anger and uncertainty, Richard Band provided his subscribers with a voice of reason and sound advice to help them survive the crisis and then position their investments for the recovery."

Profitable Investing has a distinguished history of being recognized, having received a total of eight SIPF awards over the years, which is no surprise for those who know Richard's talents as an analyst, writer and newsletter editor who is genuinely concerned about the well-being of his readers.
